Minneapolis Rezoning Commenting Workshop

In an effort to gather real-life experiences, concerns, and needs from affected community members, CEED, in collaboration with Community Members for Environmental Justice (CMEJ), is hosting a Rezoning Commenting Workshop on Wednesday, March 15 2023.

All members of society have a voice in public decision-making and have a right to a healthy and vibrant planet.

We work to ensure that historically marginalized communities and policy makers have the tools and information they need to create just, sustainable energy and environmental policy. Indigenous communities, low income communities, communities of color (i.e. environmental justice communities) have a right to be at the decision making table. We develop tools and information on climate, environment and energy to build the capacity of community members to effectively participate in public decision making.

On the Shoulders of Giants: A Scientist’s Reflections on the Intersection of Black History and a Just and Sustainable Future

As a Black woman, scientist, mom, and advocate for equitable access to safe, healthy, and sustainable environments, I am proud of the contributions that Black Americans have made to science, technology, and environmental advocacy.
