The Board of Directors of the Center for Earth, Energy, and Democracy (CEED) announces with gratitude and appreciation that Dr. Kristi Pullen Fedinick, the current Executive Director, will be leaving her position. Kristi’s leadership has supported CEED during a critical transition period and has fortified the organization for the next phase of its evolution. She has decided to pursue new avenues in leveraging science and data in the fight for climate and environmental justice and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
The Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Bill Gallegos, a long time CEED Board member and former Executive Director of Communities for a Better Environment, as the Interim Executive Director. Bill has extensive experience and expertise in the field of environmental justice and policy, as well as organizational strategic planning. He will ensure a smooth transition and continuity of our programs, services, and coalition partnership work.
CEED remains committed to its mission of providing tools and information for communities and policy makers to create just climate and environmental policy. We thank our partners, supporters, and stakeholders for their continued belief in CEED’s mission and values. Your commitment, collaboration, and engagement have been instrumental in our achievements, and we look forward to our continued work with you as we embark on this new phase of leadership.
